NEW YORK, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — N4XT today announced the next milestone of its partnership with SAP – a new Retail Innovation Lab by NYFW Collections and SAP created in collaboration with RE/DONE for September’s New York Fashion Week. Located at 475 Broome Street in SoHo and running from September 11–30, the activation will bring together fashion, retail, immersive technology and cultural programming.
N4XT develops and operates fashion platforms and experiences, including NYFW Collections, connecting designers, brands, partners and the broader industry around fashion week. N4XT partnered with SAP in February 2026 to bring together its fashion industry expertise with SAP’s more than 50 years of technology and operational experience. Now entering its second season, the multi-season partnership is focused on bringing technology into real-world fashion and retail environments in ways that create meaningful value for designers, brands and consumers and strengthen the fashion week ecosystem.
The Retail Innovation Lab builds upon N4XT and SAP’s ongoing collaboration to explore how enterprise technology can be experienced by consumers in retail environments. N4XT first brought the concept to fashion week alongside SAP in February 2026 with Public School New York, creating a retail experience around the brand’s return to NYFW that showcased its new collection alongside archival pieces and SAP-powered technology.
“Our second season with SAP is about evolving what we can create together. N4XT is in a unique position to bring together creative talent, brands and partners, and with RE/DONE, we have an incredible fashion moment that allows us to bring that vision to life in a new way. It’s a strong example of this partnership and what we can continue to bring to fashion week,” said Imad Izemrane, Founder and CEO of N4XT.
SAP will integrate technology that is designed to create a connected retail environment for audiences to discover and engage with RE/DONE’s collection.
The Retail Innovation Lab will feature:
- A live Command Center: Behind the scenes, the Lab brings together data from customer engagement, fitting-room activity, inventory, and real-time demand signals into a single view, showing retail decision makers not just what is changing, but what is recommended and coordinated in response across the business.
- AI-enabled styling: An interactive surface responds as visitors select garments, offering complete-look recommendations and helping them discover complementary pieces.
- A fitting room connected to service and inventory: A smart mirror identifies garments and sizes entering the fitting room, enabling a single request to route an associate with the relevant item, available size, location, and suggested additions.
- A store that responds to discovery: As visitors touch and explore RE/DONE pieces, RFID-enabled product recognition can update nearby displays and styling context in real time.
- And more.
Together, these experiences are designed to do more than connect the store. They bring customer and operational signals together in context, helping retailers coordinate the next best response across the business.
“Every customer interaction offers a signal: what people discover, try on, and ask for. The Retail Innovation Lab brings those signals together and turns them into real-time decisions: how to serve each customer, what to recommend next, and where inventory is needed. It is a tangible example of autonomous commerce in action. That is what more than 50 years of retail process expertise, connected across the business, makes possible,” said Andre Bechtold, President, SAP Industries and Experiences, and Chief Revenue Officer for Industry AI.
For RE/DONE, the Retail Innovation Lab will coincide with the launch of Kaia Volume 1, the brand’s first collection with Kaia Gerber, imbued with literary references and inspired by the melding of 1960s French intellectualism with 1990s New York City fashion. Available to shop exclusively at the SoHo store before its global release, the collection is complemented by key product elements within the RE/DONE world, from upcycled, vintage and iconic originals.
The space will also feature product customization, alongside SAP-powered technology designed to support product discovery, customer engagement and the retail experience. The experience gives both existing and new audiences the opportunity to dive deeper into the RE/DONE world through product exploration, while giving the brand greater insight into how customers discover, engage with and shop across its assortment in a live retail setting.
“Creativity and human instinct will always be at the center of RE/DONE,” says Phillip Prado, CEO of RE/DONE. “Technology is not here to replace those things, it should give them greater reach and give us better visibility into how customers discover, experience and ultimately shop the brand. Through our collaboration with N4XT and SAP, we are creating a retail environment where technology operates thoughtfully behind the scenes, connecting more data points across product, customer engagement, and sales so that we can make sharper, more informed business decisions. For us, innovation means using those insights to support the creative vision, strengthen the customer experience and build a more responsive business.”
Beginning September 11 and running through September 30, the Retail Innovation Lab at 475 Broome St. in SoHo will serve as RE/DONE’s home during New York Fashion Week.
